I am flashing a mates to KE7 tonight, like I did with mine, but this time I am applying cf-root first, doing a nandroid backup of completely stock optus KE2+root and doing a backup of all optus crap.apk's just incase I want to add some of them to clean KE7 in the future. If I had a warranty covered issue and did a nandroid restore back to optus KE2 firmware, would there be a way to remove root and cover my tracks so to speak? Or even better, a way to back up the optus firmware without root?
