[Help] Driver San Francisco English Lang. I got the Setup for Driver:San Francsico today. Can anyone get me a download link for the English Language.

Okay, I got the local USK-version of the game (that's the german's aequivalent of PEGI or ESRB) and it contains ENGLISH, GERMAN, FRENCH, SPANISH & ITALIAN audio! I just want to say a big 'THANK YOU' to Ubisoft, who didn't spare any expenses on the german dubbing!!! Most of the dubbers are known as voice-actors from famous hollywood movie-stars. Tanner is voiced by Christian Bale/Paul Walker Jones is voiced by Charlie Sheen/David Duchovny Jericho is voiced by Vin Diesel/Nicolas Cage Jessica Adams is voiced by Kate Winslet/Jennifer Aniston Rufus is voiced by Richard Dean Anderson The people of San Francisco are voiced by Zach Galifianakis, Angelina Jolie and others. This is actually a top cast in the German version. And it adds so much to the cool atmosphere of the game.

I remember the days of ATARI as a publisher who never gave a f. on dubbing. Driv3r had a nice cast in English with Michael Madsen, Mickey Rourke, Michelle Rodriguez and Iggy Pop but the German version was just a mess. All the actors were not only unknown but totally untalented. The voice acting was horrible and actually embarrassing. The atmosphere of the cool movie clips was completely destroyed when Tanner or Jones started talking. Same was with Driver Parallel Lines.

It's really a shame when you see how much work went into the production of the movie scenes and then there's a voice which can be taken of any neighbour who's in fact totally unable to express anything. But it wasn't only with the Driver series. ATARI in general didn't take care of any localization of their games: Alone in the Dark, Test Drive Unlimited, Enter the Matrix, Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy). They all sounded horrible in German. It's great that Ubisoft is different!
