Driver Hid Compliant Device Error
I tried what is said at that link and checked my manual and nothing worked. All the pointing device setting were correct anyway. I found on some forums about trying.
After an update from Windows 8 to Windows 10, my touch screen stopped working. Clearly this is a very common problem that has afflicted countless Windows users who did the same thing. Does HP have a solution for reinstalling HID- Compliant Touch Screen driver? There's tons of reported fixes on the Internet but the few that looked reasonably safe to me, haven't worked and 'HID - Complaint Touch Screen' is no where to be found in Device Manager as it used to be.

You can try to use troubleshooting to automatically fix it at first. This may help to scan your hardware error and then fix it. Of course, check the windows update, maybe it can find the touch screen driver and install it for you. And also, you can use some driver scanner software to scan your computer, it will help to recommend the right driver.
