Canon 40d Firmware Update 2.0
EOS 40D Firmware Update Version. Cameras with firmware up to Version 1.1.0. If the camera's firmware is already. The Canon Service Center in.
I purchased my camera on yesterday and it has 1.0.5. The 2.0.0 update, as I'm reading it, is not really meant for the 40D.
I would suggest you update the your firmware of 1.0.5 to the 1.0.8. I don't know the specifics of this update, nor have I noticed anything earth banging by upgrading, but I operate under the premise that an upgrade isn't put out just for jollies.
